Ranchi: Jharkhand is currently in the grip of severe heat. In 12 districts of the state, the temperature has crossed 40 degrees. In 5 districts, the temperature is above 41 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no hope of getting heat relief for the next 5 days. Let us know that a week ago, after the storm and rain, the people of the state got relief from the heat, but the temperature started increasing again.

The situation is that after six days, the temperature has crossed 40 in about 12 districts of the state. The highest temperature in the last 24 hours was recorded in Godda at 43.2 degrees. Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 39.4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the weather forecast has said that people are not likely to get any relief from the heat for the next 5 days. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be severe heat in Jharkhand till June 13. The sky will be cloudy on the evening of June 13 and pre-monsoon rainfall will start from  June 14. After this, people will get relief from heat. The Meteorological Department has informed today that this time the monsoon will arrive late in Jharkhand.

The arrival of monsoon in the southern state of Kerala is delayed, due to which the monsoon will also arrive late in Jharkhand. The department has expressed hope that the monsoon can arrive in the state from June 18 to 19. In 2022, the monsoon arrived in Jharkhand by June 18.
