Ahmedabad: Heavy rains have badly affected the life and severe waterlogging in many parts of the city has triggered heavy waterlogging In Vadodara district of Gujarat. In Vadodara, the prices of essential commodities are also showing a huge increase due to rain. On Friday morning, a long line of food items was found in Vadodara. Here people are getting half a litre of milk for Rs 40. The prices of vegetables and bhajis are also showing a significant increase.

While people are suffering from rain and other things, the increased prices of food and beverages have also added to the problem. It may be mentioned that due to incessant rains, water has entered many residential areas of Vadodara. Several areas have been submerged due to continuous heavy rains and flood like situation is visible here.

Crocodiles have also been reported to have entered several residential areas of the district. This has created an atmosphere of panic among the people. In Gujarat, heavy rains have also affected rail and air traffic. As a result, many trains have been cancelled and many have diverted. Air flights were also suspended in Vadodara on Thursday due to heavy rains.
