Bhubaneswar: Many parts of Odisha have received heavy rains, due to which normal life has been affected. Due to heavy rains at various places, road connectivity has been broken in many places in the state, water has been flooded in the lower areas and raw houses have also been damaged in some places. Officers have given this information The Meteorological Center said that till August 17, heavy rains are expected to continue with heavy winds in many parts of the state.

The Meteorological Department has also predicted a more low pressure area over the northern part of the Bay of Bengal around 19 August. In Odisha, there have been heavy rains this month due to the formation of 3 low pressure areas. Officials have further told in this regard that since Thursday, heavy rains have been occurring in most parts of the state, due to which life has been disrupted in many areas of Malkangiri, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack and Kendrapada District, many villages Have been cut from the rest of the state.

Rain water is continuously flowing on the roads in some places. In this case, he told that apart from the roads being submerged, the continuous rain has also caused great damage to the paddy fields. Residents of many people were also damaged due to heavy rains, road connectivity has been broken in many places.
