Himachal is once again in a bad weather condition. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow and Orange Alert. On the other hand, the Meteorological Center Shimla has expressed rain and snowfall in the state from March 4 to 7. Along with this, Yellow alert has been issued for eight districts of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur for March 5. With this, a warning has been issued in these districts with lightning strikes and winds running at 30 to 40 km per hour. At the same time, on 6 March Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur districts, besides heavy rain-snowfall, issued a warning of storm.

However, warning has been issued for the remaining districts with lightning strikes and winds at 30 to 40 kmph. Also, no warnings have been given for Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts. On one hand, there was sunshine in most parts of the state including Shimla on Monday. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature has been increased by 2 to 3 degrees and minimum temperature by 1 to 2 degrees. The mercury of Manali, Keylong and Kalpa is still running in minus.

Apart from this, maximum temperature of major cities Shimla is 14.7. Sundernagar 23.3, Bhuntar 24.4, Kalpa 09.6, Dharamshala 15.6, Una 26.0, Nahan 22.1, Solan 21.5, Kangra 23.8, Bilaspur 23.5, Hamirpur 23.2, Chamba 22.4 and Dalhousie 7.7 degrees Celsius.
