Jalandhar, Police arrested two Nigerian nationals with 4 kg heroin, worth Rs 20 crore in the international market seized from them.

Police Commissioner Arpit Shukla said, a raid was conducted last night at a house on Panchsheel Avenue here and the duo was arrested.

The duo have been identified as Agu Emanuel and Akoh Precious and Rs 2.45 lakh in cash was also recovered from them.

According to Shukla, one of the accused Akoh said during investigation that they used to stay under the guise of students and two days ago they had brought 2 kg heroin from Delhi.

A case has been registered under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against the convict and an investigation is on to arrest the other members of the drug network they were part of.
