Teachers appointed in Himachal's school-colleges may now have to do a house test check in a week. The Department of Higher Education has implemented the Public Services Guarantee Act in 11 services. Along with this, the Directorate of Higher Education has issued a notification in this regard and instructed all the officers to follow it. In the same higher education department, students may not face problems due to notification of various work under Public Service Guarantee Act. Now the examination of examination answer sheets, house tests and weekly examinations books will not last for several days.

Apart from this, Director of Higher Education Dr. Amarjeet Kumar Sharma said that a time limit of one week has been fixed for evaluation of answer sheets. The same school-college leaving certificate, character certificate, library security, bus pass and I-card work will be done within a day. On the same day, the applicant will get this service on the same day. After admission, changing the subject will also be done in a day.

The District Deputy Director of Education Department has been appointed as the first appellate officer for matters related to schools and Joint Director for college related matters. Apart from this, NOC inspection report can be given within 15 days from the date of opening a ninth class private school. The department can also provide the necessary documents for taking NOC in 15 days. He will be the first appellate officer for these works. Approval for release of scholarship amount under various schemes can be given in five days. The condition of availability of budget has also been imposed for this.
