There is going to be a high-level meeting under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the Modi government of India. This meeting has been organized to review the Veer Fund of India. The Veer Fund of India is an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Director General of BSF, Vivek Kumar Johri and Director General of CRPF, AP Maheshwari have reached the Ministry of Home Affairs to attend this meeting.

At that time a total of Rs 6.40 crore was deposited in it. After this, in 2018, 19.43 crore was deposited. At the same time, to help the 40 soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack last year, the whole country extended its hands and deposited money in the fund. As of June 18, 2019, an amount of Rs 242.15 crore was deposited in this fund.
