Himachal Pradesh: 3 policemen died in tragic road accident

Shimla: Three police personnel on a bike were run over by an unidentified vehicle at Asha Devi, 150 metres behind the check post of Hoshiarpur Road under Police Station Gagret in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. All three policemen have died in the tragic accident. According to reports, the three jawans were riding a bike to the police check post at Ashadevi at 10.30 pm on Wednesday. Meanwhile, his bike was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the way.

All three were in civil dress but were identified with their ID cards. According to the identity of the ID card, their names are said to be Manoj Kumar, Shubham and Vishal and the three were jawans of the 4th IRBN Battalion. The trio was deployed to serve in Una just two days ago and in a road accident, the lives of all three were swallowed up. When there was a loud explosion after the collision, the teachers who were giving covid duty nearby went there and saw it. The three jawans were lying on the road. According to reports, two jawans succumbed to their injuries on the spot but one died on the way to the hospital. The car that collided fled.

Police have started an investigation by taking the number of suspicious vehicles from toll tax Naka. At present, 5-6 vehicles are on the list of police which are being searched as the police are assuming that the collision took place with a large vehicle and on that basis, major vehicles have been included in the preliminary investigation.
