Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has taken a jibe at the Bharat Jodo Yatra being taken out by the Congress to regain his lost political ground. Jai Ram Thakur has said that Congress leaders are on the Congress Chhodo Yatra amid the Bharat Jodo Yatra being taken out by Rahul Gandhi.

CM Thakur further said that there is no future of the Congress party, nor can Congress do any good to anyone. The Congress, which drowned the country, is sinking itself now. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Friday (October 7) attended the 75 years celebrations of the Progressive Himachal-Foundation at Purana Bus Station in Una city. State President of the Sixth Finance Commission Satpal Singh Satti said that this visit of CM Jai Ram Thakur is historic for the Sadar assembly constituency.

Jai Ram Thakur dedicated many big projects of the city to the public during his visit to Una. He said that with the inauguration of the Mini Secretariat, now the public will get all the offices under one roof here. The only National Career Center in the state will provide facilities to the differently-abled. With the inauguration of Una Circuit House, the guests visiting here will get a luxurious stay. Mother-Child Hospital (MCH) will provide the best possible treatment to mothers and babies.
