Shimla:  There is a fierce debate between the leaders of the Opposition within the Parliament of the country, but in Himachal Pradesh, two rival leaders clashed in front of the people. During a program in Bilaspur, a fierce debate was witnessed between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Randhir Sharma and Congress MLA Ramlal Thakur on the stage.

Here the two leaders started accusing each other of making a mess of funds for the construction of high way and road. In view of the heated debate between the leaders on the stage, the people present in front started enjoying themselves. During this time, the people sitting there started raising slogans from their respective side. Taking care of the atmosphere, the rest of the leaders present on the stage intervened and had to seek the help of the police to handle the public. A video of this incident has also surfaced.

It is being told that Ramlal Thakur and Randhir Sharma are old political rivals and earlier such disputes have been witnessed between these two leaders. During the previous Congress government too, these two leaders had fought each other on an open platform likewise. While this debate was going on, Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary was also present on the stage and she was clearly uncomfortable with this incident.
