Uttarakhand: The lockdown caused by COVID-19 infection became a boon for the Himalayan region. At present, vegetation, flowers are blooming in the Himalayan region, and these areas do not see any other type of garbage, including plastics. The same goes for religious and tourist place in Chamoli. There are Badrinath, Mana, Satopanth, Rudranath, Auli, Saptakkund, Doodh Kund, Lord Curzon Track, Vedani Bagangarial, Home Kund, Valley of Flowers, and every year in summer, millions of people visit these places.
