Ranchi: A violent clash broke out between two communities during idol immersion in Jharkhand's Dhanbad. There was a lot of stone pelting from both sides. Dozens of people from both sides have been injured in this incident. It is being told that during the idol immersion, a fight started over sloganeering and the playing of songs near the religious place of Muslims in Loco Bazar Idgah Mohalla under the Sudamdih police station area of Dhanbad district. The dispute turned into a violent clash and then stone pelting.

After stone pelting between the two communities, the entire mohalla turned into a battlefield. Police from more than half a dozen police station areas of the Dhanbad district had to be called in to control the situation. According to the information, violent clashes broke out between the two communities during the immersion of the idol. As soon as the incident was reported, the police of Pathardih, Sudamdih, Bhaura, Jorapokhar, Sindri, Jharia, Gaushala, and Bank More of Dhanbad immediately took the front to control the situation.

The police also had to use force to disperse the crowd. After hours of hard work, the police brought the situation under control and immersed the idol in the Parghabad pond in its presence. The entire area has been converted into a police cantonment in view of the growing tension between the two communities.
