New Delhi: The Delhi Police has been tight-lipped in view of the possibility of rioting on the occasion of Holi. Delhi Police officials have spoken about the fact that those who do rioters on the day of Holi are not going to be spared at any cost. On the other hand, the Delhi Traffic Police has also become strict. Delhi Traffic Police teams will be deployed at major intersections. The special thing is that on Friday, where there is Holi in the day, then the festival of Shab-e-Barat is going to be celebrated at night.  

Delhi Police's Additional Public Relations Officer Anil Mittal has said that those who create ruckus on the day of Holi will not be spared at all. He has said that it will be mandatory for people to follow the traffic rules. Delhi Traffic Police teams will also be deployed at major intersections and routes to ensure that traffic rules are followed.  

Additional forces are also going to be taken to the streets to stop the rioters. Special care is being taken for the safety of women. It has been announced to deploy an additional police force along with thana police at sensitive places. Tight security arrangements are being made in these areas. According to senior police officials of Delhi Police, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana himself is likely to take stock of the security arrangements.  

Friday i.e. today is the festival of Holi in the day, so the festival of Shab-e-Baraat is being celebrated at night. In view of this, the police of all the districts have been instructed to remain on high alert from the police headquarters. Friday can also be a troublesome day for the traffic police. During the day, where drunk drivers will be caught to catch them, at night it will be seen that the group of bikers will not forget to follow the traffic rules. Not only this, the Delhi Police will be stationed from place to place to catch the miscreants. As both the festivals are being a day, it has also been reported that senior police officer meetings have been held at the district and thana level with members of Aman Committees and prominent people of all communities. Delhi Police has appealed to all the people to keep calm and harmony and brotherhood on the festivals and follow the law.
