Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister and Gandhinagar MP Amit Shah visited Gujarat after the removal of Section 370 and Article 35A of the Constitution from Jammu and Kashmir. He had arrived to attend the closing ceremony of the Mission Million Tree organized by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. During the event held in his constituency, Amit Shah flagged off eight electric buses to ensure pollution-free and eco-friendly urban environment.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a global message of environmental protection to the Hon'ble Prime Minister in the presence of CM Vijaybhai Rupani of the province. CM Rupani said that the people of India have emphasized Pm Modi's call for global leadership in the implementation of the Paris Environment International Agreement. He said that while ozone levels are declining due to the constant emission of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, we must uphold the tradition of Indian culture of preserving the gift of nature such as trees, rivers, earth.
Home Minister Amit Shah said PM Modi has guided the entire world by creating a separate ministry for water energy after becoming Prime Minister for the second time. The Ministry of Water Power will look into the functions of water conservation, efficient irrigation practices, and wastewater management. At the same time, Amit Shah has appealed to the people that the earth is our mother and it should not be exploited.
