Despite orders of Home Ministry, shops will not open in these areas

New Delhi: Lockdown is in force till May 3 in the country to prevent the infection of coronavirus. In the meantime, giving a big relief, the government has given permission to open all kinds of shops from Saturday. This includes shops of essential and unnecessary goods. Those working in these shops will have to follow the guidelines issued for the lockdown.

However, the Ministry of Home Affairs has not given permission to open shopping malls and market complexes. The Home Ministry, while amending its order issued on 15 April, said that during lockdown all the states and union territories of the country registered under Shops and Establishment Act and residential complexes located in municipal and municipal areas and surrounding areas will be allowed to open stand-alone shops along with neighborhood shops.

The Ministry has also clarified that there has not been any relaxation in hotspots and containment zones. PM Narendra Modi has already said in his address to the nation that relief is in your hands. Meaning, there will be relief in those areas where there will be no risk of corona infection or where there will be no cases of corona.
