Japan: Honda has unveiled the Trail 125 for the global market in 2023, with a suggested retail price of $3,999 (roughly Rs. 3.28 lakh).

The motorcycle's intimidating paint job is the only one available. It is called Pearl Organic Green.The hardy quarter-liter motorcycle has a clutchless semi-automatic gearbox, just like the Trail 90 and Trail 110 before it.

On the design front, the 2023 Honda Trail 125 has a tough design language and a reinforced steel backbone chassis. The bike has a 17-inch wire-spoke wheel, raised handlebar, rider-only saddle, rounded fender with a large luggage rack, and 5.2-liter fuel tank that is neatly integrated into the frame. It has a cluster of digital instruments.

The 2023 Honda Trail 125 measures 800mm in height, 1,255mm in width, and 27 degrees in rake angle. It weighs 116 kg with a full tank of fuel and all of the standard equipment.

 

The 2023 Honda Trail 125 has disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels as well as single-channel ABS to prevent skidding on slick surfaces like gravel or ice for the rider's safety.

Telescopic forks with fork guards on the front side and dual shock absorbers on the back handle the motorcycle's suspension duties.

On the performance front, the 124.9cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder engine that powers the 2023 Honda Trail 125 is connected to a 4-speed clutchless semi-automatic gearbox. The automaker is secretive about the bike's horsepower and torque numbers.

Honda offers the 2023 Trail 125 for sale in the US market for $3,999 (roughly Rs. 3.28 lakh), not including a $200 destination fee and a $100 freight surcharge.

For the time being, Honda has no plans to export the motorcycle to India. However, we think the motorbike will be practical on our soil as a tough last-mile delivery option.
