New Delhi: During the crisis of Corona where most of the companies shut down. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited have set a new record in the sale of a two-wheeler. It is being told that Honda 2Wheelers India has sold more than 11 lakh units of its BS-6 vehicles in India.
It has been clarified on behalf of the company that its BS-6 two-wheelers are the most preferred vehicle in the Indian market. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, sales and marketing director of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, says that the company launched the Activa125 with BS6 engine in the market in September 2019, which has proved to be a new milestone in almost nine months. The last four months have been the worst for the auto sector due to the coronavirus epidemic which makes this achievement more special.
Honda's main competitor, Hero MotoCorp, changed BS 6 emission norms earlier this year. Sales and Marketing Director Yadvinder Singh Guleria says that "It is a matter of great pride for Honda that Honda's 11 upgraded BS-6 models have won the trust of Indian customers."
