New Delhi: The Report of the Publish Lancet on Friday mentions the steps India should take to get rid of corona infection. The report says that flexible and agile vaccination strategy is required in the country to control corona at present. The report also highlighted the importance of sentinel site based monitoring with the help of Test Positivity Ratio (TPR).

The Lancet report was published in its monthly Open Access Global Health magazine titled 'Responsive and Angel Vaccination Strategy Against Covid-19 in India'. It said how limited vaccination resources can also be used in a flexible manner. For this, the report cited the experience of the previous influenza epidemic in 1918 and 2009. At the same time, he said of the current corona infection in many other countries where more than two wave of infections have taken off. The report says that flexible and agile vaccination strategies between corona infections can play an important role in protecting life and livelihood.

How to insert drive-in vaccination:
As per the report received, community based outreach activity as well as transport facilities for elderly category in all areas can help in reducing the distance between the immunization centre and its beneficiaries. These outreach activities include setting up of satellite vaccination centres near settlements in rural environment, provision of immunization for nearby persons on behalf of Resident Welfare Association in urban areas, drive-in vaccination using large community halls and parking lots etc.
