World AIDS Day is observed every year on 1st December all over the world, the main objective of this day is to make people aware of AIDS, a disease caused by HIV infection. AIDS is the most serious disease of the present time, every day many lakhs of people are infected with this disease. More than 900 children worldwide are also affected by the disease every day. Many of these cases even occur that people die.

How did World AIDS Day begin?: World AIDS Day was first celebrated in August 1987 by a man named James W. Bun and Thomas Natter. James W. Bun and Thomas Natter were appointed in Geneva, Switzerland as officials for the Global Program on AIDS in WHO. James W. Bun and Thomas Natter suggested celebrating World AIDS Day in front of Jonathan Mann, director of the Global program on aids of WHO. Jonathan liked the idea of celebrating World AIDS Day and decided to celebrate World AIDS Day on December 1, 1988. State that 8 official public health days include World AIDS Day.

These causes AIDS
-Unsafe sex (without condoms).
- By infected blood transfusion.
-HIV positive in the baby of the woman.
- Using a needle once used a second time.
- Using infected blades.
