There is opposition in Spain for strictly enforcing face masks and other rules to prevent the coronavirus epidemic. Hundreds of people are protesting in Madrid with the slogan 'Freeedom'. Crowds of protesters gathered under yellow and red Spanish flags gathered at the Plaza Köln in the city center on Sunday to protest against the orders implemented by the country's government.
There were self-written posters in the hands of the protesters, inscribed, 'The Virus Doesn't Exit, Mask Kill and We're Not Afraid'. Those who say that there is no such thing as covid-19, we are not afraid. 58-year-old Pilar Martin, who participated in the demonstration, said that she came here from Jargoza to participate in the rally. She says that the government is overstating the figures of infection all over the world because it wants to achieve people's freedom. The protesters did not wear masks, while the law to wear masks in public has been enforced in Spain. After the removal of the 3-month lockdown in Spain, new cases of infection are increasing.
