Bangalore: Lockdown has been implemented till May 3 in the wake of the Corona crisis in the country. Meanwhile, hundreds of laborers gathered at Kulur in Mangalore, Karnataka. They gathered due to a rumor that cash is being distributed to the laborers by the state government. In Mangalore, Karnataka, 400-500 laborers gathered around 12:30 pm on Tuesday and started waiting for government officials. They came there with the hope that they would be given two thousand rupees in lockdown from the government.

When the police got information about this case, the police immediately reached the spot. On giving information to the police, a woman laborer has told that, 'I do not know who spread this rumor first but I heard the people around me saying this. I was told that I should bring Aadhaar or passbook, which will be paid only after seeing it. All the laborers stood in a flock.' The police is trying to find out who spread the rumor among the workers.
