Post Unlock Metro services have started in Telangana. Hyderabad Metro continues to dominate nutritionally and is next to Delhi Metro. While Delhi Metro is at the forefront of recording 14 lakh passenger journeys per day, the Hyderabad Metro records an average of 1.17 lakh passenger travel per day. Other metros are Bangalore (50,000 passenger travel per day) and Chennai (20,000 passenger travel per day) are far from Hyderabad.

Speaking about metro services in Telangana, HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy said, "Since September 7, we are constantly monitoring nutrient practices across the country. Next to delhi metro is Hyderabad metro, ". Encouragement from 80,000 passenger travel per day is steadily increasing. In three corridors, Corridor I (LB Nagar-Miyapur) records 65 per cent nutrition, Corridor II (Nagol-Raidurg) records 35 per cent and Corridor III is recording five per cent, he said.

Currently, on a daily basis, there are 800 trips in three corridors and trips will increase in the coming days depending on demand. Apart from this, short loop services are being operated from LB Nagar to Amirpet and Miyapur to MGBS to avoid congestion in stations and trains. It will be increased again, according to demand, he said. These services are conducted from 7 am to 9 pm with frequency ragging for three to four minutes in various corridors. Metro officials are exploring the possibilities of expanding services beyond 9 pm for passenger convenience.
