Hyderabad: Former MLC and senior TRS leader Karna Prabhakar reached Telangana Bhavan on Sunday when the security personnel did not allow him inside. The security personnel said that his name was not in the list of invitees. The TRS leader said that he is a senior leader and also the media convener for the plenary session and he should be allowed inside. Senior leader Karna Prabhakar had reached Telangana Bhavan when the joint meeting of Telangana Legislature and Parliamentary Party was under process. Despite their understanding, they were not allowed entry.

Later he had to call in-charge of Telangana Bhavan M Srinivas Reddy. An angry Karna called the staff of the building and reprimanded them for not making proper arrangements and not informing the security personnel about the authorities. After this they were allowed inside the building premises. Karna Prabhakar (born 1970) is an Indian politician and Politburo member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He was inspired by K Chandrasekhar Rao to obtain statehood for Telangana and joined as a founding member of TRS in 2001.

He worked as Youth President, General Secretary, Spokesperson in the party. And contested as MLA candidate for TRS in 2004 but lost the election. He is the MLC of the Telangana Legislative Assembly and was the state president of the youth wing of the TRS party. He is one of the prominent members of TRS. He speaks well and handles situations intelligently. He is on Telangana Rashtra Samithi ticket as MLC. Earlier, he worked as the in-charge of LB Nagar constituency.
