An Indian national has died in a road accident in New Zealand.27-year-old Syed Abdul Raheem Fahad, who hailed from Hyderabad in Telangana, was killed when a speeding truck jumped a signal and rammed into Syed Abdul Raheem Fahad's car.The happening occurs in Central Auckland.He went to New Zealand two years ago on a student visa

The driver of the truck was drunk when the mishap happened.The family of the dead person Indian has called on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to bring his body back at the soonest.Syed Nehmath Ullah, the deceased's brother, on Saturday: "My brother Fahad went to New Zealand two years ago on a student visa. Today, in the morning we received information that he met with an accident and died of injuries. We request Ministry of External Affair Sushma Swaraj to help us and make our brother's body to reach India soon."

One of the family members of the 27-year-old student added, "We have accepted contact with the concerned embassy, but we would like to request Ministry of External Affair Sushma Swaraj to help bring his body here at the earliest. We also want compensation."
