Instead, Hyundai suggests that the transmission control unit (TCU) receives a signal from the TGS liver protection sensor, indicating the driver's desire to change gears. The TCU then sends a signal to attach the hydraulic actuator to the hydraulic actuator, which is sent through the clutch tube to the concentric slave cylinder (CSC).
