According to the latest reports, the auto market is going through a downturn, where some companies are on the verge of closure, many of them have been shut down, while Hyundai Venue is being liked in India. The slowness of the automobile sector has not been affected by this car. The venue has received more than 75,000 bookings since launch. The popular car has delivered 42,681 units. The executive director of Hyundai Motor India expressed happiness over the figures saying that it is a proud time for the company. Venue has outpaced all cars in the utility vehicle segment. He said that Venue has become the number 1 car of its segment. This car is equipped with many modern features. This car offers active and passive safety for stress free driving. 69 percent advanced high strength steel (AHSS) and high strength steel (HSS) have been used to make the car.
Talking about its features, then Hyundai has launched this small SUV in 3 engine options. It has a 1.2-liter petrol engine, which generates 82 bhp power and 114 Nm peak torque. This engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Another is the 1.4-liter diesel engine, which generates 89 bhp power and 220 Nm peak torque. It has a 6-speed manual gearbox. The third is a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 118 bhp power and 172 Nm peak torque. With this engine, the option of 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-automatic automatic transmission has been given.
It is worth noting that this car was launched in India in May. The Hyundai Venue has a bold look and looks like a Creta from the side. However, the front and rear sides of the SUV are completely different from the Creta. It features cascading grills, split headlamps, projector fog lamps, LED taillamps, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and strong character lines on the side. To give a premium feel to the cabin of the venue, it has premium laser cut finish dashboard and fabric and leather finish seats. The SUV is available in 10 color options.
