Shafaq Naaz, an actor who has been active in the business for more than ten years, is content that people still remember her for the Mahabharat character she portrayed (2013).

"I don't mind being remembered as Kunti because the show was legendary and it's challenging to produce ventures like that on television today. Things have drastically changed; you hardly ever see long-running daytime soap operas that are generating TRPs. In addition to Mahabaharat, my performance as Mayuri in Chidiya Ghar (2014) is also deeply ingrained in the minds of my fans.

Naaz was most recently seen in the digital movies Halala (2019) and X & Y (2022). She says social media is the best way to stay in touch with her audience and fans. "I enjoy interacting with my fans, it helps me to know my standing and also what more they expect of me as an artiste," she says. But occasionally, things do get a little out of hand, and you end up being let down. I have two groups of fans because I work in both the TV and OTT industries. The former group still views me as the mythological characters I portray on television. They have occasionally questioned and disagreed with my choice of attire.

I find it incomprehensible that some people will advise me to refrain from wearing simple western clothing even when I do. What sense does it make to instruct someone on how to live their life? To each his/her own, right? The Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actor claims, "But over time, I am learning to cut off from such negativity and keep a carefree approach.

Naaz is currently concentrating on her TV daily and has also finished an OTT series. I'm looking for projects right now that will allow me to experiment with different media. My entire month cannot be devoted to daily. I have enough time to take on additional projects thanks to my role in the television series Hanuman. I want to work and spend quality time because I only have one life. I want to minimize the stress from work.
