Patna: JDU leader Upendra Kushwaha has once again attacked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He has said that he was handed a lollipop after being made an MLC. But he wants his share. Upendra Kushwaha said that he was given a lollipop after becoming an MLC. He has no greed for such a position. He further said, 'I had left the post of Union Minister. Just like Nitish ji had sought a share from Lalu Yadav in 1994, similarly, I also want a share. I am not going anywhere empty-handed without partaking.'

In a press conference, Upendra said, 'Nitish Kumar says that I was given a lot of respect after coming to JDU. But I was handed the rattle of Parliamentary Board President. When I became the chairman of the parliamentary board, there was no importance in the constitution of JDU. Later the constitution of JDU was amended. I did not get the right to be made a member of the Parliamentary Board. The Parliamentary Board considers the candidature for the election. I did not get this right either. No suggestion was taken to me regarding the selection of candidates for the elections. I kept giving advice to the national president and Nitishji without asking.'

Upendra Kushwaha alleged that no leader from the most backward community was included in the team that took policy decisions of the party. Upendra said that he had suggested sending a leader of the party coming from the most backward society to the Rajya Sabha or the Legislative Council. The CM did not pay any heed to this suggestion. Being the Chairman of the Parliamentary Board, he cannot protect the interest of the people. After Kushwaha's allegations, now the BJP has taken a dig at him. BJP has said that people are understanding Nitish's statement very well. When the BJP was asked to put forward Tejashwi's name for the leadership of 2025, it was said by the party that there is no point in talking so far. Let us inform you that Upendra Kushwaha recently said that whenever Nitish Kumar has become politically weak, we worked to cooperate with him. He also said that today some people are abusing Upendra Kushwaha, But it doesn't matter to them. Attacking the RJD, he had said that some people are conspiring to weaken Nitish Kumar.
