Actor Rakesh Bedi has played diverse comical roles and in recent times, he is getting attention with his role of Bhure Lal in the famous serial 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai', the actor reveals his equations with the cast of the show and his role model in his acting career.

He definately shares a special bond with Aasif Sheikh. He says: "Every time I have a scene there, I enjoy going to the sets. We have worked on various movies, plays, and stage performances together. Aasif loves me so much that we often make jokes about our past experiences while rehearsing."

Apart from Aasif, he also has a good bond with Shubhangi Atre, as he mentions: "I don't have my regular scenes, but whenever I am on set, I have been taken care of a lot by Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi). She pampers me like a daughter. So, our bond is not just onscreen but off-screen as well. We all have our lunch together whenever I am on set, and she herself cooks for me and innocently says 'Dadoo Khana Kha lo(dadoo have food)'."

"Likewise, I also shared a great time with Rohitashv Gour, chit-chatting about our theatre days and various political issues."

On the response he is getting for his character Bhure Lal in 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai', he says: "There has always been a amazing response. The Bhure Lal persona is incredibly famous. However, they also worry when I take off my helmet. When the audience loves me as Bhure Lal, I am nostalgic. I frequently find myself laughing as I go through the countless witty and hilarious father-in-law memes created by Bhure Lal on social media."

He speaks about his role model in his career, saying: "Charlie Chaplin was someone I admired a lot, so I watched all his movies and comedy acts. He was the one who, without saying a word, made everyone laugh, and that is what motivated me to pursue a career in theatre. I also enjoyed the amazing work of Johnny Walker, Sanjiv Kapoor, and Mehmood Sir."
