New Delhi: 20 Opposition MPs, who were suspended for a week from the monsoon session due to the uproar in the Parliament, are sitting on an alleged 50-hour protest. All these opposition MPs are camping in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament complex. The suspended MPs had started their protest in the Parliament complex on Wednesday (July 27). In fact, these MPs had tried to disrupt the proceedings of the House. After which the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha suspended them after warning them several times. The suspended opposition members have been staging a 50-hour protest since Wednesday to protest against their suspension.

MPs have made a timetable for the demonstration in the Parliament complex. According to the same timetable, all the MPs are staging a protest one by one. These MPs spent the entire night on Wednesday in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, TMC's Dola Sen and a few other members were responsible for staging the night-time protest. At the same time, the opposition parties have made all arrangements for the food and drink of the MPs sitting in the protest. Tandoori chicken, idli-sambhar, curd rice, carrot pudding and fruits etc. have been made a living place for the MPs.

Opposition parties have come together here to demonstrate their solidarity and political strength. The parties have been given the responsibility of arranging everything from food and drink. A roster has also been created to arrange for the protest, which has been shared on the WhatsApp group. So that from time to time they can protest. Let us know that the opposition has made an offer to the Chairman, in which the parties were asked to apologise for the behaviour of their members to withdraw the suspension.
