New Delhi: Mahathug Sukesh Chandrasekhar has written a letter to Delhi LG from Mandoli Jail itself. Sukesh Chandrasekhar has demanded an inquiry into the purchase of decoration items at the official residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Sukesh has claimed that Chief Minister Kejriwal bought expensive items in large numbers. It is alleged that Kejriwal had bought goods from companies like Ralph Lauren, Visionaire for lakhs of rupees for the Chief Minister's residence. Additionally, Kejriwal is accused of buying a silver crockery set worth Rs 90 lakh from a South Indian businessman. Sukesh claimed that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself bought expensive furniture and beds from Sukesh for renovation, which is currently under investigation.

The same Sukesh said, the furniture was personally selected by Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain on the basis of pictures that I sent to Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain through WhatsApp and Face Time chat. The letter said, 15 plates and 20 silver glasses, some idols and several bowls, silver spoons, were delivered to the official residence. Sukesh wrote a letter alleging that I myself delivered furniture to Chief Minister Kejriwal. 12-seater dining set made of olive green onyx stone, which cost 45 lakhs. Kejriwal bought a dressing table for his bedroom and for the child's bedroom for 34 lakhs. As per the allegation, Kejriwal bought 7 glasses worth Rs 18 lakh in his house. Apart from this, a total of 30 pieces of rugs, bed sheets, pillows were bought from Ralph Lauren, which cost 28 lakh rupees. Also, 3 wall clocks worth Rs 45 lakh were purchased.

Sukesh said that I had bought all these furniture on billing from Mumbai and Delhi, as all these furniture were imported from Italy and France. Sukesh told, all the furniture was directly delivered to the official residence of Arvind Kejriwal and kept in the residence by my employee Rishabh Shetty. Significantly, the BJP has accused the Delhi government of spending Rs 45 crore on the repair of Arvind Kejriwal's residence due to the Covid epidemic. In the wake of reports of crores being spent on renovation of Kejriwal's residence, Delhi LG directs Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar to secure all relevant records, verify records and submit a report within 15 days for LG's perusal.
