The upcoming season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs will be hosted by anchor-comedian Bharti Singh, who also revealed that she will occasionally appear on The Kapil Sharma Show.
"Kapil is a great colleague, and in the past, I have always been on his show doing comedy," she said, "and I would like to put all speculation about whether I will be seen on The Kapil Sharma Show to rest. I'll be appearing on his show again this season. It will be less frequent because it will be challenging to balance my time between being a mother, hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs, and comedy shows. If I am not a regular on Kapil's show, however, people shouldn't speculate as much.
Bharti acknowledged that some people think that when she co-anchors a show, she sometimes takes the spotlight away from someone else. "Many people have a problem with my anchoring on stage and feel that I try to steal somebody else's thunder by cracking such jokes that the focus and attention stays on me, but I have never tried to do that. I would never want to bring anyone down on stage. Comedy is my forte and I do it best, so at times when viewers enjoy my act, people feel that I don't let others showcase their work, but it's not true. I am just doing my work. And that's what I enjoy the most.
