Actor Kushagre Dua, who is currently starring in "Bahot Pyar Karte Hai," claims he wants to avoid being typecast and would like to take on a role similar to the one played by the late Sushant Singh Rajput in "Pavitra Rishta."

Kushagre, who has appeared in shows like "Divya Drishti" and "Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin," said: "Now I want to play a positive game with some intriguing emotions and shades. When it comes to my ideal role, I would love to take on the unfiltered role that Sushant played in "Pavitra Rishta," which had a variety of different roles to play, including possessive son, romantic lead, and gully boy. If not for that, I'd adore playing a don. I'm hoping to get the chance soon."

An Indian soap opera called "Pavitra Rishta" premiered in 2009 and ran until 2014. It is a translation of the Tamil TV show "Thirumathi Selvam." The series was rebroadcast on the channel in late 2018 and again in 2020 following the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the iconic character Manav.

He claims: "Since a very long time ago, I have consistently played negative roles. However, I don't feel stereotyped. I consider every role to be a brand-new journey with new possibilities. As an actor, I prefer to enhance the effectiveness of the roles I play as opposed to making comparisons between them."

"I believe that playing a negative character gives an actor a lot of room for experimentation. Thus, both my audience and I are generally having fun performing. After "Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali," I'm fortunate to have the chance to work with Sandeep Sikand sir once more. He can teach us so much that will help us develop as actors."

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his home in Mumbai; Bandra in June 2020 he was 34.
