Mumbai: Voting in BCCI state associations has been completed. Voting is now to be held for the first-ever Indian Cricket Association of India (ICA) election. More than 1200 international and first-class (male and female) cricketers from India have registered for this. The board has released the final list for these elections. Which does not include the names of some famous faces. With a rich heritage of producing cricketers, only 86 first-class cricketers from Mumbai had registered before the deadline of 21 September.

34 of these registered cricketers are men. Mumbai's Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan are not named in the election list. Apart from this, famous players like Sandeep Patil, Vinod Kambli and Ramesh Powar are also not associated with it.

The names of Tendulkar, Kambli and Zaheer were included in the voter list of the recently concluded Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) elections. Meanwhile, the names of India's popular cricketers like Yuvraj Singh (Punjab) and Bishan Singh Bedi (Delhi) are also missing from the electoral list. Some famous Indian cricketers will cast their votes through e-voting in the ICA elections to be held from 11 to 13 October.
