New Delhi: If you are a customer of ICICI Bank and AXIS Bank, then this news is just for you. Both banks have announced that a charge will be imposed on cash deposit and withdraw. Under this, both banks will charge for depositing and withdrawing money on non-business hours and holidays through cash recyclers and cash deposit machines.

This simply means that if you use cash recyclers and cash deposit machines during a bank holiday or during non-business hours, you will have to pay Rs 50 as a convenience fee. According to ICICI Bank's notification, consumers will not be charged Rs 50 as a convenience fee for using the cash machine during the bank holiday and from 6 pm to 8 am. According to the information given by the bank, this fee will be charged only on the transmission through machines. In addition, no fee will be levied on senior citizens, general savings accounts, Jan Dhan accounts, disabled and visually impaired accounts and students accounts.

With effect from 1 November 2020, Bank of Baroda (BoB) has started charging its customers for transactions beyond the prescribed limit. You can withdraw money from the current account, overdraft, base branch to CC, local non-base branch and outstation branch only 3 times in a month for free. However, a fee of Rs 150 is being charged per transaction for the fourth time. In addition, from November 1, cash handling charges and cash deposits of more than Rs 1 lakh per account, a fee of Rs 1000 will be paid.
