New Delhi: A study by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) says that Covaxin is also effective against delta plus variants of the corona. ICMR made this big claim before the third wave of the corona. A lot of you are fearing from the Delta Plus variant from the third wave of the corona.

Earlier, Bharat Biotech had said that covaxin has demonstrated 77.8 percent effectiveness against the pathogen corona and 65.2 percent protection against the new delta version. Covaxin has proved to be 93.4 percent effective against serious corona cases. Efficacy data claims 63.6 percent protection against the asymptomatic corona. All the documents required for the Emergency Use List (EUL) were submitted by Bharat Biotech to the World Health Organization (WHO) for Covaxin by July 9 and the review process was initiated by the agency.
Minister of State for Health Bharti Praveen Pawar had also informed the Rajya Sabha in this regard. The review process has started by WHO. He said in a written reply that WHO usually takes up to six weeks to decide on emergency use list (EUL) submissions.
