Bangalore: As the assembly elections in Karnataka are coming closer, the political temperature in the state is rising. Meanwhile, Janata Dal (Secular) president HD Kumaraswamy has challenged former state CM and Congress leader Siddaramaiah to form his own party. He also challenged Siddaramaiah that if he has strength, he should show it by winning only five seats in the elections. Talking to the media on Saturday (January 28) in Mittimalkapur, he said, 'JDS will attract the attention of the country after the elections, wait and see.'

Kumaraswamy further said, 'I would like to tell DK Shivakumar and Sulina Ramaiah (fake Siddaramaiah) that after this election, JDS will shine all over the country.' Kumaraswamy said his party would win 123 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. He warned Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar that if they continue to talk wrong about him and his party (JDS), they will be at their own loss. Kumaraswamy said that those who do so will face the loss from their own seats.

Let us tell you that there is a possibility of elections in the southern state in the month of April or by the middle of May. At the same time, differences are visible between the Janata Dal (Secular) and the 'first family' of the party regarding the selection of the candidate from Hassan seat in the upcoming assembly elections. It is also becoming difficult for the former PM HD Deve Gowda-led party to select a candidate from the Hassan seat as the party supremo's daughter-in-law Bhavani Revanna has not yet withdrawn her candidature from there, while JDS parliamentary party leader and his brother-in-law HD Kumaraswamy has made it clear that she will not be given ticket in the election.
