The process for Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering-2019 Programme has been started online Indian Institute of Science and Indian Academy of Sciences, Bengaluru are jointly inviting applications for SC/ST students. Interested candidates can fill the application form through online mode by visiting the official website, iisc.ac.in The Online Application process commenced from March 18, 2019. The closing date for submitting the online application form is April 30, 2019.

The duration of the program will be for one month. The programme will commence in June and conclude in the month of July. The selected candidates will get an opportunity to work with the faculty members of IISc. They will also get a chance to learn various techniques used in research.
Following students will be eligible for the summer Fellowship in science ane Engineering-2019 programme:
1.SC/ST students pursuing M.Sc in Biological, Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Science, or
2.Students in the third or fourth year of B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent degree in all disciplines during the academic year 2018-2019.
3.Preference will be given to students who are in the first year of M.Sc and third year of B.E/B.Tech.
Note - Students who have already taken the summer fellowship programme in previous years or already pursuing higher education are not eligible to apply.
