Kharagpur: IIT Kharagpur is facing continuous clashes by its scholars on Tuesday and Wednesday, more than 300 of scholars are protesting to hike in admission fee of admission in masters and PHD students. Organization says that they were facing minor protest since last week but it has geared up from Tuesday.
Committee of three deans( students affairs, UG and PG) met on Friday to discuss the increment on admission fee, they demand for deduction and continuing their protest. They demand deduction of charges from Rs.8,250- Rs.15,200 to 12,500 simultaneously, they demanded for advance fee deduction from RS.13,500 to Rs.12,000.
Till this time no announcement has been done related to the issue.
