Patna: The prominent leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and deputy chief minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, has reached the Enforcement Directorate (ED) headquarters. Today, ED officials will question and answer Tejashwi Yadav in the case of a job in exchange for land. The agency had sent a summons to Tejashwi on Monday, April 10, asking him to appear on April 11. Let us tell you that this is the first time that the ED team will interrogate Tejashwi Yadav in this matter. Earlier, the ED had questioned Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti.

Evidence of money laundering worth 600 crores has been found against the Lalu family so far. -

Explain that the ED has registered a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on the basis of the FIR lodged by the CBI. The ED has so far claimed to have found evidence of money laundering worth Rs 600 crore in the land-for-job scam. According to the probe agency, out of the properties acquired from crime, Rs 350 crore is immovable property. While 250 crores came to Lalu Prasad Yadav's family through benami people, a senior ED official says that four lands bought for just 7.5 lakhs in lieu of Group D jobs were sold to former RJD MLA Syed Abu Dojana for 3.5 crores. Lalu's wife, Rabri Devi, had transferred most of it to Tejashwi Yadav. Evidence of this is also available with ED.

At the same time, the CBI alleges that from 2004 to 2009, Lalu Yadav, while being the Railway Minister in the Manmohan Singh government at the Centre, committed a scam by taking land in exchange for a job. During this, Lalu Yadav secretly gave jobs to 12 people of Patna in Group D and, in return, got their lands located in Patna written down in the names of their family members. The CBI claims that the plots were registered in the names of Lalu Yadav's wife Rabri Devi, daughter Misa Bharti, and Hema Yadav, and the nominal cost of the land was paid in cash. At the same time, the posts for which recruitment was done in the railways were neither advertised nor information given to the Central Railway. People were given jobs within three days of submitting applications.
