Patna:  On Thursday morning in Bihar's Nawada district, a 17-year-old boy was run over by a super speed train while crossing a railway track. Nitish Kumar, a resident of Warsaliganj ward number 19, has been confirmed as the deceased. While crossing the railway track, he was listening to music with earphones.

"Nitish was on his way to school for his class ten board exam. He was probably hit because he failed to spot the incoming train "HK Ali, a railway station officer in Warsaliganj, said.  The catastrophe occurred at the railway station's south end.

The New Delhi Gonda Humsafar express was speeding, according to eyewitnesses, since it did not halt at Warsaliganj railway station. Nitish crossed the tracks unaware that a train was approaching. He passed away on the spot.

"The body's remains were collected and sent for a post-mortem examination. The incident has been reported to the local police department "he stated.
