Chandigarh: Two men beat up two women in Kotakpura, a city in Faridkot, Punjab. He even grabbed the hair and dragged the women on the road. Police have registered a case against the two accused after the video went viral. The Bhim Army was immediately arrested and sc/under the SC/ST court. The ST is seeking registration of cases under different sections of the Act.

Significantly, there was a sudden panic near The Chopra Bagh in Kotakpura when people saw two men beating up two women. The crowd then gathered there and some people even made a video of it, which went viral on social media. The accused escaped from the spot after beating the women. The victims were taken to hospital. According to the complaint, when she went to the shop with her neighbour Sonia in the morning, she noticed that the accused Sukhdev Singh and Jaswinder Singh were throwing out their shop items. When they tried to stop the accused, the men started beating them. According to the victim, the accused kicked her in the stomach and humiliated her and grabbed her hair and threatened her. Police said, the case has been registered and the accused will be arrested soon.
