Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday (February 11) addressed the 'Dikshant Parade' of 74 RR batch IPS probationers in Hyderabad. During the launch of the All India Services after Independence, the country's first Home Minister Sardar Patel said that the responsibility of keeping the country intact under a federal constitution lies on the All India Services.

The Home Minister further said that in the last 7 decades, we have faced many challenges in the field of internal security and in these circumstances, about 36 thousand policemen have attained martyrdom. Shah said, 'Those who come after getting elected, they work for the development of the country. You get the right to serve the country for 30-35 years. What a huge responsibility the constitution has put on your shoulders. These 25 years are very important. Your responsibility is very important. The Home Minister said, 'NIA is now expanding across the country. The expansion of NIA and NCB has helped in controlling criminals involved in narcotics and terrorism. Crimes related to terrorism, narcotics, and economic crimes are being monitored on the national database.'

Let us inform you that, a total of 195 officer trainees including 29 foreign officer trainees are participating in this parade. SVPNPA Director AS Rajan informed about the details of the 74 RR batches of IPS Probationers on Thursday. 37 women officers are also participating in the Dikshant Parade, which is 23 percent of the total number.
