New Delhi: In October last year, BMW unveiled the 2023 M2 for the international markets. The sporty second generation coupe will come to India in May, according to the Bavarian automaker.
The updated car gets a new grille which looks similar to the M3 and M4 models. The fourth generation four-wheeler is also much larger than before.
In recent years, BMW has focused on creating electric vehicles (EVs) with a focus on performance to demonstrate its dedication to a more sustainable and greener future.

The automaker has announced that the second generation M2 from the iconic "M" performance division will be the last pure ICE vehicle to be produced. Here's a look at the top features of the coupe as it prepares to arrive in India.
The 2023 BMW M2 gets a longer and sculpted hood, a modern blacked-out kidney grille, adaptive LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, and a wider air dam, taking design cues from its sibling the M3 sedan and M4 coupe.
ORVMs, flush-fitted door handles and 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) black alloy wheels frame the coupe. The rear is adorned with LED taillamps that wrap around.
The 2023 BMW M2 comes equipped with Adaptive M suspension units like its older siblings. Stepless adjustment and independent damping are provided by electronically controlled shock absorbers on the front and rear axles.
Electromagnetic valves, which can change the damping force several times in a second, are used in these devices. The system has three preset modes: Comfort, Sport and Sport+, which can be used to alter the riding dynamics.
The latest iDrive 8 system from the manufacturer is included in the second generation BMW M2. The system, which is currently in its eighth generation, features a large curved screen setup that houses a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment panel.
The system includes the latest connectivity features including Bluetooth, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
A 3.0-litre, twin-turbocharged, inline-six engine powers the 2023 BMW M2, producing 453 horsepower and 550 Nm of peak torque.

The performance-focused coupe featured a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, with an optional 8-speed "M Steptronic" automatic gearbox as an option.
