Chandigarh: Income tax team raided the residence of Lalit Nagar and his supporters, believed to be close to Robert Vadra, brother-in-law of former Congress MLA and former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, from the Teegaon Assembly seat in Faridabad district of Punjab. According to the information, on Monday, along with Lalit Nagar's ancestral village Bhupur and his residence in Sector 17, simultaneous raids of several supporters have been taken.

The Income Tax Department team has been scrutinizing documents since morning. It is being told that the department is not satisfied with the reply received in lieu of the notice sent to Lalit Nagar by the Income Tax Department, so they are carrying out raids. The Income Tax Department's raids continue at the residence of former Congress MLA Lalit Nagar and his supporters. Lalit Nagar and his family are inside the house and all the phones have been taken over by the team.
