The income tax department is searching for the third consecutive day in the property of famous Bollywood superstar Sonu Sood. The Income Tax Department is conducting surveys at six locations related to Sonu Sood. The actor was searched on 6 properties when the Income Tax department took action against Sonu Sood on Wednesday. According to the report received, people belonging to Sonu are now on the radar of the IT department.
Sonu was recently made the brand ambassador of the Aam Aadmi Party's mentorship programme which was meant for students. The Aam Aadmi Party has now backed the actor saying the actor is being targeted by the Central government as he had become a messiah of needy people. Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted in support of Sonu and said lakhs of people will pray for the actor. Sonu has been recognized nationally and internationally for his good work.
Shiv Sena party has also supported Sonu. In fact, through an editorial published in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece 'Saamna,'Â wrote, "The BJP praised Sonu Sood, but now, after the Delhi and Punjab governments tried to join hands with him, they feel that Sonu is hiding or manipulating taxes.'' In Samana, he wrote, "BJP leaders were present at all Sonu's programmes like scholarship programmes when they set up oxygen plants in 16 cities. Even when the Maharashtra Governor called Sonu to Raj Bhawan and appreciated his work.''
