Virat Kohli led team India is to face Australia today in Sydney for the second T-20 match. India won the opening Twenty20 international on Friday in Canberra by 11 runs.  This victory will India in extending their winning streak in T20Is to 10 games thus breaking rivals Pakistan’s record, who won nine T20I games on a trot in 2018.

Pakistan had defeated Zimbabwe and then Australia twice in a tri-series in Harare from July 2018 to November 2018. They then won thrice each against the Aussies and the Black Caps in the UAE. However,  team India have already equalled Pakistan’s record with win in first match against Australia, which was their ninth consecutive T20I victory on the trot.

Talking about Today's match, Australia who suffered defeat in the match got another blow as fast bowler Mitchell Starc was ruled out of the final two games of their Twenty20 International series with India on compassionate grounds. Talking about India,  pacer Shardul Thakur, inducted in the T20I team after Ravindra Jadeja suffered a concussion.
