India has lost in the semi-finals of the second consecutive World Cup. It lost to Australia in the semi-final match in 2015.

In the critical condition, Ravindra (77 runs, 59 balls) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (50 runs, 72 balls) played crucial inning and took the team to 208. But with both of them falling one wicket after another, the team got into trouble and everything was over.
