The ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 is to be held on Indian soil in October-November. Now a big news is coming out regarding this World Cup. According to a report received, the World Cup will begin on October 5 with a match between England and New Zealand. And the final match will be played on 19 November.

Pakistan's team is also going to participate in the World Cup 2023. The match between India and Pakistan is most likely to be held on October 15 (Sunday). At the same time, the start and the last match of the tournament is also likely to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The Indian team will play its first match against five-time champions Australia. Cricbuzz has also confirmed that Pakistan has agreed to tour India for the World Cup. But there are reports that the Pakistan team does not want to play the group match in Ahmedabad. As per the tentative schedule, the 1992 World Cup winning team Pakistan will play its matches in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru.

Apart from Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Dharamshala, Guwahati, Rajkot, Raipur and Mumbai are going to get the opportunity to host the World Cup matches. Whereas Mohali and Nagpur have been excluded from the list of host cities. The Wankhede Stadium, which hosted the final of the 2011 ODI World Cup, may get an opportunity to host a semi-final match this time. This time, 48 matches are to be organized in the World Cup among a total of 10 teams. India, England, Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh Eva, South Africa have already qualified for this mega event. The remaining two teams will be decided through a qualifying tournament to be held in Zimbabwe in the month of June-July. The qualifying tournament featured West Indies, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, Ireland, Nepal, Oman, Scotland.
