Ranchi: The third and final match Ranchi series of three Tests between India and South Africa is starting from today. India has already won the series, so the third Test looks formal. But Team India would like to win the 3–0 Test series. Let us tell you that Team India beat the first Test by 203 runs, while in the second Test played in Pune, India beat Proteas by an inning and 137 runs. Kuldeep Yadav got injured in the Ranchi Test on Friday evening. In his place, Shahbaz Nadeem has been included in the team.
Captain Kohli has already clarified that a lot is at stake even in the last Test match and his team will not be slowing down in any way. There is no significant weakness in batting or bowling in the Indian team before the last Test match. The Indian top order has done well so far. Rohit Sharma has played his role as a long-form opener. He scored a century in both innings, opening the innings for the first time in the first Test.
Mayank Agarwal scored a double century in Visakhapatnam, while in Pune he was successful in establishing a hundred. If Indian captain Virat Kohli scores 76 runs, he will leave behind Sachin, who scored 580 runs in ten Tests, on home ground against South Africa. Virat has 505 runs in six Tests so far. In this list, Nawab of Najafgarh i.e. Virender Sehwag 924 is at the forefront. Rahul Dravid is at number two.
